Join the CRLP for the upcoming (SLD) Spanish Language Development Standards workshop. By participating in this vibrant CRLP learning community, you will gain expanded knowledge of current educational research and policy, immediately applicable professional resources, and a network of professional contacts.
This training will provide an opportunity for participants to understand the design and organization of California’s new SLD standards and their relationship to the Common Core en Español and share ideas on how to use the new SLD standards for planning for Spanish learner instruction across content areas.
Intended for K-6 teachers, administrators and district staff responsible for dual language programs.
Participants will study and learn:
* The design and organization of California’s new SLD standards and their relationship to the Common Core en español
* Ideas on how to use the new SLD standards for planning for Spanish learner instruction across content areas
* Strategies to strategically sca old Spanish learner engagement, access, and achievement
* How to utilize this knowledge to plan and deliver e ective SLD lessons language programs
