About CRLP Regional at UC San Diego Open Programs
Different than our Signature Programs, the CRLP at UC San Diego offers a variety of learning opportunities throughout the year that are open to all.
Open Programs are available to all educators, regardless of location, school site, or district. They are one-day or half-day workshops, such as our sessions dedicated to unpacking the California Spanish Language Development standards or the California Dyslexia Guidelines, that are offered one-to-two times a year. These “one-off” opportunities are an excellent way to become acquainted with the Reading and Literature Project’s teacher-led approach to professional learning. Open Programs are also more accessible to educators due to their reduced cost and time commitment.
